Fall is finally upon us — today while creating some photographs for Gordon Hall in Dexter, I was surprised at how colorful the trees have gotten. It’s good to take some time enjoy the change — come winter, I’m sure we’ll be missing the breezy fall weather!
Why was I at Gordon Hall? well, you might already know this, but the grounds have recently been made available for rental. The Dexter Area Historical Society is now allowing the grounds to be rented, and plans are to also rent parts of the building for indoor events once renovations are complete.
As I walked around to view the grounds before photographing Gordon Hall, I noticed a few reasons why this location would be great for an event or wedding. The property has an expansive scenic view that ranged from forest to farmland to the vineyard just recently planted on the grounds. Believe me, it was very peaceful and relaxing being there.
If you’re looking for a great place to hold your next wedding or other special event outdoors, you should check out this location — there’s no shortage of space here!
