Yearly Archives: 2008 Well, baby Sydney arrived before I could get this blog post up, but it’s still worth sharing a few from her mom’s maternity portrait session. My guess as to the cause would be the high winds and heavy gusts… anyways, the power went out sometime around 4:15 this morning. We normally don’t lose power unless there’s a bigger outage (very thankful about that… my parents’ house loses power about three times as…  Well, this morning I got an email from a friend of mine… and found out that the Dexter Leader printed an article about me and my results at the Detroit Professional Photographers’ annual print competition (Best of Show)! Look for an article called “Dexter portrait artist wins Best of Show.” I’ll try to get the…  Today I was quite surprised to find a package left by the front door. Now, it being the holidays, of course I have some expected deliveries… but I didn’t remember ordering anything requiring a cooler container. Turned out to be a present from my aunt and uncle in Montana (thank you!!). Now, you probably can’t…  Well, Hanukkah started today, Christmas is in three days, and Kwanzaa is the day after that.
