Well, it’s happened. We’ve finally created a twitter account for Betsy’s Photography. If you want to follow Betsy’s Photography on Twitter… you’re more than welcome to do so.
Now, onto the explanation that you knew was coming. What’s Twitter? Twitter is a real-time messaging utility… kind of like instant messaging but also kind of like blogging. The updates are very short (140 characters or less), and you can use your account for simple things like “it’s raining”… or you could let your friends know what you’re up to. So, for Betsy’s Photography, we’ll be using twitter to let you know what we’re up to …especially when it’s something that doesn’t warrant its own blog post. “Sure,” you say, “what could be not interesting enough for a blog post… but still interesting enough for me to want to read?”
Well, now we can use Twitter for those one-liner holiday notes that have made their appearance on the blog. We could post a holiday special, or if we’re having a get-together party… or just post to let you know “Amanda’s session went great!”
