Last night I stopped by Northfield Dog Training to begin an extensive but fun project! Northfield Dog Training is a great facility if you’re looking for a local place to train your dog — just the basics, or even advanced obedience and agility training.
This first image is of the dogs in the advanced obedience class. They’ve obviously been told to stay by their owners. Cool, isn’t it!
I also met the most adorable little puppy — you wouldn’t know if by this photograph I created, but he is a fiesty handful. Training must be paying off for his owners, right?

Finally, the “main” reason I was there last night was to photograph the exterior grounds and facilities. Northfield Dog Training has not just one, but two buildings for classes. This is the larger one. Interior photographs are planned for the future, but there’s only so much a photographer can do in one evening, right? You’ll be seeing a bit more of Northfield Dog Training, and its owner, Adele Yunck as we progress with the photographs to update their website and brochures. But for now, know that Adele knows her stuff — her own dogs have done very well at shows, and she’s even the author of a few dog training books!

To learn more about Northfield Dog training, you can visit their website: NorthfieldDogTraining.com. The facility is conveniently located on the Southeast side of Ann Arbor, accessible from I-94.

The pictures that you took of our puppy are adorable.
Thanks! He was such a bundle of energy, I had fun photographing him!
The top photo is great. That’s Casper doing a lovely down – something many dachshunds despise!
