Monthly Archives: August 2010 Well, an ultrasound kind of counts as a portrait, I guess… don’t you think? Yesterday at my OB appointment, we attempted to hear our baby’s heartbeat. Well, that plan didn’t really come to fruition — baby was in an uncooperative mood. So, we got to look on the ultrasound machine instead. I have to admit,…  Michael came to the studio the other day because he was in need of an updated professional portrait. He is currently in the process of getting into medical school! Anyways, here is the image we created for Michael: Best of luck with the rest of your studies, I’m sure it will be very exciting when… Polina came to the studio about a week before leaving for Cornell University. We were able to create some classic portraits with a contemporary twist. I love the clean look of white on white… Also wanted to share one of her favorite quotes with you: “Life is too important to be taken seriously” – Oscar…  Baby G finally arrived… and we finally got her into the studio for her newborn portraits. Since she was a couple weeks old already, Baby G was pretty active! We did manage to lure her halfway to sleeping… and ended up with some wonderful portraits of her awake and asleep. I absolutely *love* this portrait…  Since I’m my own boss, and I’ve got everything under control… there’s no need to keep the excitement under wraps (well, for any longer!).
