It’s always great to see relatives again, and a trip like this gets even more fun when a sailing excursion is involved! First, the boat needs to be gotten ready, of course! Steven and I helped my cousin get the boat ship-shape, and managed… Here’s a funny little story for you… We installed a cat door for Jake (our cat) this weekend. Now, I’ve been told to prop open the flap for a few days to help the cat get used to it, so we did that. We also put Jake on the other side of the door and… No weddings this past weekend, I was busy attending my *little* brother’s college graduation! I’d forgotten how long commencement usually runs. But that’s ok. It was worth it to get to be there to help him celebrate. Those black caps and gowns really do make finding people tough. We ended up texting (yes via cell)… Working with engaged and married couples allows me to enjoy hearing about many wonderful proposal stories. And while I haven’t heard everything, I have heard quite a bit. From the more typical romantic flowers + tux proposal to a more adventurous underwater scuba diving proposal, I find it extremely interesting to see how each engagement… Well, despite the entertaining video that Steven submitted to DIY’s Desperate Landscapes, and the fact that our submission was one of the top 15 out of 10,000 entries — we didn’t make the finals (top 4).
