I really enjoy creating images for fellow artists. Here’s another professional portrait I did for a local pianist. Classic simplicity!
Tag Archives: Business Portrait Image is important when running a business! And I love it when my clients understand the importance of planning their professional portrait to convey the right tone. Eve, a spiritual healer, recently had me create several portraits for her. Here are the results of our collaboration!  Megan is a published author and an English professor at the University of Michgan! This fall she came to the studio to update her professional portrait, and here is the portrait that she selected. I love the combination of gray and purple tones in this image!  This winter I created a professional portrait for my high school oboe teacher, Kristin Reynolds. She’s currently a faculty member at Eastern Michigan University, in addition to teaching private lessons and makes reeds for oboists not wanting to make their own. Or, as in my case — not having the time to make my own…  I love it when my clients have a clear vision for their portrait session! For this particular session, my client (an author) knew that he wanted a monochromatic portrait that would meld with the serious nature of his book. So, we went for a more subdued and artistic portrait… and here is the final image… |
