An old time wet plate photography booth was…  This weekend, at the historic Gordon Hall (Dexter, MI), you can experience what life was like during the days of the Civil War. The Dexter Area Historical Society & Museum is hosting the event, which will run June 10-12 (2011). There will be artillery firing demonstrations on both Saturday and Sunday, an appearance (and address)… This Dexter family has two great puppies, whose names are… Curly and Moe! We started out the session by doing something a little more active (the goal being to have the dogs use of some of their energy so they’d be calmer for the rest of the session!). In addition to doing something so extremely… I love going on location for portrait sessions, especially when it’s someplace meaningful to my clients. While it doesn’t technically matter where you go for your session, wouldn’t it be nice to choose a place that will bring back fond memories? Your home, your favorite park… the only limit is your imagination. I love brainstorming… I just received a note from Jennifer Colby, the event coordinator for Gordon Hall here in Dexter.
